Business Link - Women In Business

adies from the Whitstable Business Club attended a Business Link organised lunch entitled 'Women in Business'.

Strode Park Foundation

Strode Park Foundation is an independent voluntary organisation working to provide high quality services to meet the changing and individual needs of people with physical disabilities.

The Whitstable Business Club was very happy to donate a cheque to the Strode Park Foundation Coach House which will enable the staff there to purchase specialist software for their computer room. Our photo shows former WBC member Colin King presenting a cheque to Joan Solly, Deputy Training Units Manager Coach House Training Centre.

Volunteers who are reasonably computer literate on email and MS Word etc.and can spare a couple of hours or more a week are always in great demand at Strode!

Cobbes Meadow Group Riding For the Disabled
Chartham, Canterbury CT4 7GG

People with many different disabilities ride and drive at Cobbes Meadow. Riding and driving helps co-ordination, balance, muscle development and fitness.

The Whitstable
Business Club was delighted to be able to recently present a cheque to the Cobbes Meadow Group to help them continue their fantastic work. Our photo shows WBC member Kevin Bodle present a cheque to Jenny Coy a Cobbs Meadow volunteer for over 10 years.

Odyssey
The Chaucer Hospital

Odyssey is a charity which enhances the quality of life for people with cancer through imaginative programmes of challenging and dramatic activities using the outdoors.

It uses the stimulation of uncertainty and surprise to help participants aged 18 to 84 rebuild confidence and regain their zest for life.

The Whitstable Business Club was very happy to present a cheque to Odyssey to aid their continuing and inspiring work in this area.
